This 9 minute video made by a physical science teacher (I assume) explains very well why humans should bother doing their best to counter the possible threat of Global Climate Change. Whether you believe it is happening or not, doing nothing is rather short-sighted and not very intelligent.
But, like Isaac Asimov once said: "It has yet to be proven that intelligence has any survival value."
